Lady Von Tava
"Tava"
October 19, 1993 - October 23, 2001
My beloved "Tava" was the inspiration behind WeCare Rottweiler Rescue, Inc. and still guilds me in the direction of helping other Rottweilers.
On October 23, 2001, "Tava" left my side to join those at the rainbow bridge.
At the age of 8, she was stricken with Bone Cancer. "Tava" was the most loving girl, as well as loyal, kind, caring, the qualities we look for in a companion dog.
Remembering the loving memories of "Tava" especially those wonderful fun times "Tava" and I had together. "Tava" is alive in my heart, soul and will always be with me. She smiles down on us.
My Angel in the Wings, Please don't mourn for me. I'm still here. Though you don't see me, I'm right by your side each night & day and within your heart I long to stay. My body is gone but I'm always near. I'm everything you feel, see or hear. My spirit is free, but I'll never depart as long as you keep me alive in your heart. I'll never wander out of your sight. I'm the brighest star on a summer night. I'll never be beyond your reach. I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.
I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around and the pure white frost that blankets the ground. I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond. The clear, cool water in a quite pond. I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring.
The first warm raindrop that April will bring. I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine and you'll see that the face in moon is mine. When you start thinking there's no one to love you, you can talk to me through the Heavens above.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze. I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep and the beautiful dreams that come when you sleep. I'm the smile you see on a baby's face. Just look for me friend, I'm every place! This is dedicated to my Beloved, Loyal, Confident and Courageous Tava.

Rottweilers gates to heaven.
Inga came into our lives October 26, 2001. This scared little girl who we adopted, soon had a loving home with a mission to help others. Inga brought a great deal to the Rottweiler rescue as she had shown an older Rottweiler could learn obedience. She showed her gentle and sweet love to encourage people the Rottweiler was of a loyal, courageous and loving breed. To the very end, Inga was there by my side protecting me and loving me with her huge heart filled with love.
Inga's mission in life was to help other people with their dogs who had hip dysplasia and arthritis. To wear her many costumes and hats to make people smile and laugh. Inga showed people the true Majestic of the Rottweiler breed. For all of you who have known of Inga or met her, you could not help but smile when you seen her. She had a personality of such grace, confidence and love.
Inga was not a show dog, nor the standard AKC, but Inga was our beloved companion, our child with such love and devotion whose heart rose above any show dog. Inga did not need a title to show how wonderful of a breed she was, she showed her grace in her character, obedience and smile. You could not help, but like her.
Inga help us start our rescue efforts, with educations, obedience, guidance and such love. Inga is a legend in her own right! We will deeply miss your love sweet baby Inga! Your memory will always live on..........

To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from the Rainbow Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They'll be here later on."
God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you...
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now,
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night...
"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...
that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along
I made somebody smile.
God says: "If you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street
with me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind."
"And when it's time for you to go...
from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...
you're coming here to me."
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, sunshine and toys, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. Those who were abused or mal-treated have had their tears wiped away, and sit for as long as they want on the Golden Flowing Robes of God's Lap. They feel the touch of Pure Love on their heads and finally know happiness. All the animals are happy and content, except for one small thing - they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent and her eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, she breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together. . . unknown author

Inga has joined Tava to continue to guide me through our rescue mission. "Our Angels In Heaven" Only having Inga for 17 months, she had brought such love and devotion to me personally. Carmella
You came into my life and brought so much joy and love of life to Junior and I. You were such a happy girl, and so bossy your new big brother had no idea what to do with you. We bonded immediately and our house was such a happy house.
The 8 short months I had you, were filled with joy, as each new day you explored new and wonderous things. I can never forget the first time you saw a staircase, and tried to figure out how to climb up to the loft. Or when you chased the fruit rats into the pool, and I knew the meaning of drowned rats. You would not let them off the hose in the pool and they were sitting there, shaking before I could scoop them out and send them on their way to safety. The first time you jumped in the pool and swam until you were tired and then jumped out, shook off, and looked at me as if to say, "What fun Mom, can I do it again?"
I will never forget the morning I lost you. It was too sudden, and too soon and I know that although many may come after you, I lost a little piece of my heart when you crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Love,
Mom and Junior

Taz's
WeCare Rottweiler Rescue has lost a great ambassador to the rescue. Taz will be forever remembered through his great work in the community. His gentleness and kind loving soul, his devotion and love to us.
You did it your way, Taz! You came into this world in style and you left us in style with forever cherished memories. We will love and remember you always.
Your legacy will continue.
You are now with your love, Inga.
Live everyday to the fullest. Remember it is a blessing from God. The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones
that bring toys. You made a big difference in my life, Taz.
Special thanks to Deland Animal Hospital, H.E.L.P Animals and
Brenda Gramm for their support during Taz's treatments.

Inga and Taz together once again.
If tears Could Build A Stairway
If tears could build a strairway,
and memories a lane,
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to day "Goodbye".
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness,
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you -
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more:
To remember all the happy times,
life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today -
A hollowed place within my heart
is where you'll always stay.
ABBY
We rescued Abby in April of 2007, we drove to Jupiter Florida and we were pulling into the neightborhood and my husband saw a rottie being walked on a least. He said, " I hope she looks like that". And sure enough we pull up to the rescue home, and Beth said " Oh your early, she is out for a walk". I thought my husband would die he was so excited. When Abby got there she was nothing but wiggly butts and kisses. She was sweet and just relaxed.
We brought her home to our two year old son, she was gentle, she never snatched food, or knocked him over, she would heard him around the house. Keeping him away from corners or from getting hurt. She watched him like he was one of her Puppies.
Four years later we gave birth to a little girl. All the books said to have a baby cry and see how the dog reacts, to give something with the baby's smell before you bring her home. We didn't have to do any of this, Abby slept under her crib, waking up when she did, whining when she cried. When she learned to sit up, Abby curled behind her so that if she fell backwards she'd fall into Rottie Fluff rather than hardwood floor. She shared Toni's babyfood, licking it off her hands from the high chair. She helped me mother my kids from birth until her passing.
Abby-Girl passed away on a friday morning. My son spent a half hour with her, telling her he loved her and would miss her. Ten years he has shared with her, he can't remember his life without her. My daughter kisses her nose and goes about her business. At 6 years old she knows no life without Abby. She talks about her even today.
Rescuing a Rottweiler is an experience that fits no other. The love you recieve is unmeasurable. They are devoted, passionate, loyal, forgiving of their past owners abuse and neglect. They come to you with sad brown eyes, and day by day you watch the storm clear and the wiggles return. Everyday they love you and trust you more. Until even they have forgotten what life was like without you in it.
She was my third child, she was my companion, my snuggler, the one I tripped over getting out of bed at night or scootched over so I could fit in my own bed. She was always there to root with her cold wet nose, for loves and kisses. She took up the best part of the couch in the livingroom. And we never moved her, just sat somewhere else.
We miss her and love her and wish her the best health and happiness at Rainbow Bridge. Where is can run, jump, swim, play ball and look down on us and wait till we are all together again....
